He sat with the dying. He had a calming effect on them. So people would ask if he would come sit with them during the transition. But he wouldn’t tell them its all okay. Actually he wouldn’t say a word. Psychologists asked him what he was doing. What is calming these people so much.
He told them, as he sat, he worked on himself. He healed. He forgave the darkness. Finding the places that were hard to look, He offered love. He found the anxiety and sat with it. He emanated a feeling of peace. Ram Dass was not a man. He was an evolving force.
Maybe you can remember to let go. Let go of that thing you think you are. The Illusion. An so you can let the evolution begin. And when the times come where your friends and family are in their dark night, sit with them. Work on yourself. And Heal. The Peace you bring to the world, to your group, your friends and your family is the peace you find inside yourself.
